Liars, Liars, Liars... Do not believe anything you hear from anybody there... I called after seeing an ad in the paper saying $16,000 off of MSRP for 2500 trucks. I ended up talking to Ron Horner who is actually a Sales Manager there at Randall Noe Dodge. I specifically asked if there was any kind of add on's or anything. "No" he said, it is off the MSRP. So I told him that my son had a baseball tournament in Euless, TX on Saturday, and that we would try to make it out after. Well, we won our games, so we got to leave for home early. We called and told him we were on our way. When we got there, he wasn't there. So we got a new little helper that has been in training 2 days. Everything is fine so far. She was actually nice. Ron finally showed up after about 15-20 minutes. We started to go look for a truck to drive, and he got paged and had to leave again. So the new girl and me and my wife went looking. We found a couple trucks, finally settled on a truck to see if we could get close on financing on. They got my keys to get it looked at. It will take about 5 minutes we were told. After 30 minutes, they came back with the first and only offer sheet. 1, they didn't take off the $16,000.2, they didn't take off the dealer add ons. 3, they offered me $10,500 for my 2006 Ram 1500 Laramie edition truck. Yes, it has a few scratches on it, but for a 2 yr old, almost $40,000 truck, that REALLY PISSED ME OFF!!! Obviously they aren't taking $16,000 off their truck, they are adding that right back in to what they AREN'T giving me in trade in. Listen, I'm not an idiot. I know they have to make money, I understand I wasn't going to get what I still owe on my truck. I understand all that. But... Give me what my truck is worth, take off of their truck what they said they were taking off, and we could meet in the middle. After seeing the $10,500 for my truck I told him he was "F#@%*&^ NUTS" and to just give me my keys. He actually went back to the Finance guy that is behind a wall and they were talking. He then said the best they could do was $11,000.00 for my truck due to the re-conditioning. For one, everybody knows if dealers trade for something that is not almost perfect, they are just going to wholesale it anyway. They weren't going to re-condition it. We told him that was rediculous and insulting. Then the finance guy said well that's what we get and "we want him to take $16,000.00 off of his truck". That's not what we came in stating. THAT IS WHAT THEY HAD IN THEIR NEWSPAPER AD!!! They offered that to me... I will never, ever even think of going to randall noe dodge again... Period!!
