Waters Edge Resort
We rented 5 units that had to be the dirtiest most disgusting places I have seen in my life. Nasty dirty!

This past week my family and I rented FIVE units at Waters Edge, not inexpensively. The brochures and the web site certainly do those who wish to rent there a dis-service. Not only did we request and not receive No Smoking units these were the filthiest most appalling units I have ever rented in my life. It is disgraceful.

Since I was the organizer and suggested this resort I was particularly embarrassed by the deplorable condition of the property. Numerous items were broken, or simply not available (a broom to sweep the floor?).

None of us would even dream of using anything in the kitchen without scrubbing it first. The inside of the cabinets are filthy, the units are poorly cleaned and in particular I had a waste container under the kitchen sink that had a fresh bag; however, when I pulled the bag out it was covered with some type of black gunk. I brought it down to the front desk. The only comment was'"we will clean it for you and retur it. Yuk!"

We did not complain as we were determined to enjoy ourselves regardless of the state of our units! Many of us drove for two days to get to SC, only to find such a disgusting mess.

It goes without saying that we will NEVER stay at Waters Edge again, which I am sure is of no regard to the company; however, I would like other unsuspecting vistors to know the truth regarding the condition of this property. Absolutely disgusting!

Words cannot begin to describe it.
