Salesperson Altered My Paystub to Get Loan Approved

I obtained auto financing with Citifinancial Auto in 2007. I discovered that the auto salesperson changed my income in order to obtain the financing with Citifinancial. He totally changed my paystub and submitted it to Citi. I knew nothing of this income change at the time I purchased the vehicle. The income documents I provided that day were originals, not copies. I signed the documents believing that my true income was used in this purchase.

I tried to prove to Citifinancial that this occurred, pointing out errors and providing originals, but nothing seems to be helping. I am looking into other ways to prove my case and/or to receive justice: the State License Disciplinary Complaint Board (on the salesperson), the FTC, BBB, the Fed Reserve and anywhere else I can find. I have argued with the Dispute Resolutions Department manager as well.

Basically they are saying that because I signed the loan agreement, I was stating that the income used was correct. I did not fill out any loan agreement papers myself, nor do I recall seeing any income typed or written in on anything at all. These people are HORRIBLE! They know nothing about customer service or even care about customers in general. I have felt like it did not matter what has happened in this situation. I am going to take this as far as I possibly can to have the contract voided and to see that all people involved in this are convicted to the full extent of the law.
