Arkansas Worker's Comp And DR. Sharon Meador M.D. Fired me when I was on FMLA (Family Medical Leave) Conway

I was on Worker's comp, date of injury 11/04. I have a "Closed Head Injury" along with back and neck.

As I was seen by the insurance co's doctors I would request my medical records only to be told that I could not have them or see them as I was a work comp claim. I would get upset in the doctors offices and the doctors would not treat me anymore. After going thru this with 4 doctors I was sent to see DR. Sharon meador m.D.in Conway Arkansas.

She is a doctor that sees work comp claims for AIG insurance co and sees other people for BOTOX injections.
Well my wife and I came to see the doctor on 2/25 and when the doctor came into the exam room she told my wife to leave and wait in waiting room. I told the doctor my wife was there to give her info on things I was doing that even I did'nt know I was doing from my closed head injury. Well the doctor then told me that I was work comp and that only I could be in the exam room. Not my wife, not my lawyer, not anyone but her, me and her nurse and the insurance co's nurse. I said thats not fair to me in my treatment so at that point she TOLD my wife and I to GET OUT of her office. So we did and unknown to myself she released me to full duty as a truck driver and I was and still am taking METHADONE for pain along with other med's.

This all was unknown to me about being released on 2/25. So I waited for the insurance nurse to call me and let me know what was going on.

Then on 3/20 I called Transco lines and spoke with Mr. Robert Smith asking him what was going on and was told by him that I had been released to full duty on 2/25. I told him I did'nt know anything about that. He stated that I had not returned to work and that I had quit my job. I told him I did'nt quit I was not told what was going on. At that point he told me to come to the office and he would send me for my D.O. T medical phy to drive again. I came to the office and Mr. Will Carter our safety officer drove me to see Dr. Les M. Holden D.C. And he looked at my MRI'S and what med's I was taking along with his exam of me and FAILED me to drive. So Mr. Carter and myself went back to Transco Lines and told Mr. Smith that I failed the exam. At that point Mr. Smith told me I could'nt drive and that was my job. I ask him what do I do now? He said he did'nt know he had never seen anything like this before. Well at this point work comp stoped paying my lost wages and my medical bills. I ask Mr. Smith if I could take FMLA so that I would have my group medical till he and I could find out what to do about work comp. Mr. Smith said that would work and I filled out the paper work at that time. I then took the form my doctor needed to fill out to his office.

Everything was fine till 4/11 when Mr. Smith called to tell me I was FIRED. I as why and he stated that I had not returned the paperwork from my doctor. I explained that the doctor had it still and I could'nt get the paperwork back to him till the doctor signed it and that under the Law I had done all I could. I told him MY FMLA was'nt over Till June 16th and that I would have it back before then. He said he was sorry and hung up the phone. I now have no medical or lost wages. A I have is $162.00 per month FOOD STAMPS. Thanks AIG insurance, DR. Sharon Meador and arkansas worker's comp along with Mr. Robert Smith and TRANSCO LINES. Oh I forgot Our Gov. Huckabee.
