United Financials A Division Of United Healthcare Corp Sent Me A Fake Check!

I recieved a check in the mail with a letter from a company called United Financials which they claim they are a Division of United Healthcare Corp. The letter goes on to inform me that I'm a lucky winner for a 2008 Sweepstakes drawing. It states that I was selected through a computerized ballot system drawn from Readers Digest, Publishers Clearing House, Online Sweepstakes, etc... The check was for $3,984.30. The letter instructs you to call a Georgia cell phone # (770) 873-8857 to claim your prize. However, the company is supposed to be located in Minneapolis, MN. The only employee there is "Becky White." Becky goes on to instruct me that the check is real and that I should go ahead and deposit the check into my account. I decided to take the check over to Bank of America (not my bank but, where the check was issued) to confirm its authencity. Low and behold... The check was FAKE and the account that Ms. Becky and her friends are using is from a Realty Co.in Texas which the account has been closed for sometime now. These people are trying to get you to deposit this check into your account so that they can gain access to your information. Please Be Aware!!!
