Steven Wray Grimaud deserted his daughter when she was 8 years old. He ran off with his girlfriend who he later married and adopted her children and supported them instead.

Steven Wray Grimaud sought out employment with the National Security Agency (NSA) without notifying his former wife. He left the custodial parent of his child with no visible means of supporting their daughter or providing for her health or welfare, while he was fully employed by the Federal government and able to provide full Federal benefits.

They send a request to Prince George's County MD for child support examinations. The NSA discovered one of their own was caught not paying child support. The NSA removed the matter from the Maryland Courts and erased the Maryland State database so no public record exists that shows the NSA employing a deadbeat dad.
