SBS FAMILY FUN REWARDS - JC PENNEY: Call 1-888-527-6839 Unauthorized charge to bank account: call 1-888-527-6839 to remove charge

In April, after receiving an unsolicted charge of $9.95 on my bank account statement, I called my bank, who gave me a toll free number of 1-888-527-6839. I entered O to reach an Operator. I reached SBS Fun Family Rewards, who CLAIMED that I had requested a so-called refund on JC Penney future purchases, which was a lie. I then threatened to report them to my state AND the U.S. Attorney Generals if a credit to my bank account was not issued immediately and my name removed from their files. The next day, the credit appeared in my bank account, and I have not been charged since.

Advice to anyone who buys from JC Penney or any other company who offer a so-called "refund" on future purchases. DO NOT AUTHORIZE OR CLICK ON THE OFFER! It is a SCAM!

Once again, CALL 1-888-527-6839, enter O for operator, and threaten to report them.
