No confirmation after emailing request to cancel monthly pass

Today is 6/16/08. On 6/9/08 I e-mailed Weight Watchers to cancel my monthly pass. I still have not received a confirmation either by mail or e-mail me back. I was very easy to join but why can't I cancel my pass as fast?
