Rip-off Scam - No exchange, No return on Order Errors Las Vegas

I ordered a pair of size 7 boots and small chaps. Easy, right. I paid for the fastest delivery method. The order was there within 3 days, awsome. Opened the shipment and leathup had sent me size 9 boots and X-tra small chaps. The order was totally wrong. Disappointing but no worries since they have a hazzle free return policy if done within 30 days.

I called on the next business day and was told that I could not return the items because I was in Canada so I am classed as international. When I said that they made the error and totally screwed up the order sizes, they said that because I ordered online it must be my error in ordering. Of course when I got the confirmation e-mail when I placed the order, no sizes where on the receipt.

I told them that I don't want a refund I wanted a straight exchange for the sizes I ordered in the first place. I was told no - sorry no returns or exchanges on international orders. I asked how could they sell clothing, boots, etc internationally when there is obviously going to be conflicts in sizing. They said they can't afford the shipping costs for exchanges or returns outside the US. I said that I would pay the shipping costs... No they wouldn't do it. I could maybe starve myself to fit the chaps but there is no way I can grow two boot sizes. So I am stuck with woman's size 9 motorcycle boots a size that is really hard size to get rid of.

It's interesting that the sizes I was sent were the default sizes on the items on the website. Maybe these are the only sizes in these items they actually have in stock, so no matter what you order this is what you get. And if you are ordering from outside the US you're out the money for the items, the shipping and the duties. Nice little scam they have going on.

Leatherup then had the nerve to e-mail me an auto message thanking me for my recent order and wanted to know how I liked their product. Obviously, no one communicates with each other in that company. I responded to the e-mail and basiclly told them the whole story and thought maybe this will get me results. An auto respond e-mail said I would be contacted within 24 hours. Nothing. Here it is 2 months later and I still have the boots and chaps that are totally useless to me.

I have ordered items from the States on-line all the time and have never had a problem. I have told everyone I know to never order anything from Leatherup and I know a lot of bikers. I am so disgusted with this company.
