Needs To Be Shut Down Took Money, didn't deliver the product. Wouldn't Give refund then charged my card again!

This is a nightmare. I explained that we were in a rush to buy furniture as we would not be taking our living room or dining room with us upon moving so were in a rush to pick up anything we may purchase. We selecting a dining room set there and were told it was in the warehouse in Miami and would take about 2 weeks to come in. Seeing as it was the style I wanted at a great price, I made the order and paid for my purchase.

A couple of days later, I got a call saying they didn't have it at the warehouse as expected and they were not able to order direct from Ashley Furniture (which was strange) and would have to take some time to locate the model through another location, which could take up to 2 months, so they had another model that was almost the same as my original selection.

I went in, looked at it and agreed to purchase it. I got a phone call again saying that the second set was discontinued and I would have to choose another style all together. At that point, I asked for my money back and was told by George, our salesman that he was going to have the manager call me back. Sensing this was going bad, I didn't wait too long and contacted the business the next day and couldn't get anyone on the phone.

The receptionist kept telling me for the next week that the manager nor George were available. I started a dispute with the credit card company for furniture not received and it ended up that the manager Dionne wrote up a complete lie of a response and resubmitted my charge to the credit card company, which I have a copy of. The response went on to say that they furniture is waiting to be picked up. This is humerous considering neither order was ever able to be placed!

When my husband called the store to address the fact that payment was resubmitted a month later when they knew that we hadn't gotten the furniture and Kevin, another "manager" denied having any of our money or that the charge went through! We have a document handwritten on letterhead from them re-submitting the charge! Liars, Crooks, Con-Artists, Theives...

I really hope that they get shut down so that they stop doing this to people. After my horrible expirience I looked them up online and found several horrible reviews made by local people in West Palm Beach. I filed a complaint with the BBB and I encourage others to do the same if you have been through this with them. Rip-Offs!!!
