The quote I received, I was told by the associate, James, it included the package materials for the furniture I gave them an inventory of. This was later added to my bill after they had already put all of my posessions on the truck. Not only this, they were over 2 hours late. The movers did damage to the home which I was moving from including scratching up the hardwood floors and putting a hole in the wall near the front door. I even caught one of the movers riding my sons bike.

When I received the bill, there was an almost $2000 difference from the original quote. For the additional 25% space I utilized, they tacked on $1500, which was almost the amout of the original quote of $1989. So, for 75% of the truck, I was to pay the $1989, and for the additional 25%, an additional $1500. Something doesn't seem right. But, they had my belongings so I put 60% of this total on my credit card, as requested. The foreman was notified and showed the damage to the property, shrugged his shoulders, and in broken English, told me to contact "James".

Prior to their arrival at my new location, I was told that I needed to have the remaining 40% in cash or Money Order, or they wouldn't be delivering my items. Of course, I did what was told, and when they arrived, told them I would pay them when the job was completed. They refused to download until they had the cash in their hand. They also arrived in a different truck then they had picked up in, meaning that they'd removed all of my items and relocated them within a 48hr span of time.

My original contract stated that all Furniture was to be wrapped in blankets.
Some of the most delicate furniture was not. Two of them were damaged; the Egyptian Trunk and an antique hand made table that has been passed down 3 generations. These only had saran wrap on them. The Egyptian Statue that was damaged cost $140.2 boxes were also missing with items such as a leather office chair and all of my childs winter clothing.

The movers dropped the Grill when moving it to the back yard and dented the front of it. Also, when lowering the back of the truck, the dented and cracked the sidewalk bricks. They damaged several items including putting a hole in a $1500 mattress so they could tie off their saran-wrap.

I'm very dissatisfied in the fact that the cost of my move doubled due to materials that was implied to be factored into the original quote, but also the fact that I paid for all things disassembled to be reassembled, and the only thing that was done was the master bed. I was also told that the crew would put furniture in the place I requested, and this also was not completed. Furniture that was not reassembled is as follows:

Washer & Dryer
Executive Desk
Shelves (shelves were also missing their plastic punches that hold the shelves up
Weight Bench
Trampoline
What I was told by the crew was that they were not allowed to take their trash with them and therefore simply threw it in our yard. They also stated they could not put anything together because they had another job to get to. Obviously, with all that I had, it would have taken time for them to reassemble.

The Foreman did sign off on the work order all of the damage but did not request a copy of it.

I have tried contacting the company on several occassions, and have yet to receive a call back. I have emailed them pictures of the damage with no reply. From what the movers stated, the company has several pending cases against them, and they witnessed an attorney in the office the week prior. I have reported them to the BBB, and found out, or was notified that this is a company that has stolen the identity of a legit company in order to have a good history. I don't have any information to verify this.
