I received a check in the mail for $3820.00 stating I won a Cosumer Lotto, thank god I didn't cash it

I received a check in the mail stating I had won a Consumer Lotto and the check was for me to cash to help pay the Luxary Tax. The letter said not to make public for security reasons and I was given a date and number to call. The names that were given to me to contact were Jerry Mitchell and Amanda Kia. Fortunately, I googled the company and found that they had sent this letter to many others and that the check was counterfeit. If you receive this letter and check, PITCH IT.
