Scam from Publishers Renewal Services

Well a few days ago I received a call from 800-828-8465 asking if I wanted to subscribe to magazines. I said no, I don't have time or money for it. So that was it for that day.

Last night I received a call from the same number and they asked for my husband. I asked who was calling and I dont remember her name, but she said she wanted to thank him for subscribing to their magazines and if he had received them. I asked my husband if he ordered anything and he said no. The funny thing was that they had his information, but they called to my cell phone.

Well I told the woman that we did not order anything and she kept saying we would receive them sometime soon, if we hadn't yet. Then she started to get personal with me saying that if I always had to ask for permission when I shopped because I said we did not order anything. I said to her that was none of her buiseness. I asked her how was the order placed if we don't have a bank account or a credit card.

My husband talked to her and told her he did not order anything and that he did not want them. She got her attitude and just hung up. I am glad I told my co-workers about it, because now I know they were just scamming us.
