Wells fargo atm rip off moreno valley

Approximately December 5th I drove to wells Fargo ATM machine in Moreno Valley the one located on Sunnymead Blv. And deposited $480.00 cash in order to cover my rent check which I had sumbitted that same day. A couple of days later I called the bank to make sure the money posted and it said, $460.00 was deposited on 12/5/06 and $460.00 was withdrawled This I did not understand because my rent was much more so where did the money go? I called Wells Fargo to get an explanation and I was told that when the received the envelope from the ATM it was empty there was no money in it I asked how was that possible I deposited cash money and watched it go into the machine because I remember thinking, wow that's alot of money because it was mostly twenties so the envelope was fat and I remember the way the envelope folded as it went into that ATM. They basically did not believe me but allowed to file a complaint for an investigation to be done which I did, a few days latter I received a letter saying investigation was complete and it was found that there was no money in the envelope, that I submitted a empty envelope through the ATM machine.By this time I was Furious I asked to speak with some one of higher authority I cant recall who I spoke with but she basically told me too bad, I hang the phone up and call the police to make a police report because I really dont know what to do at this poiont, I know I want my money back. An Officer comes to my door and I file a report he says that all he could do is take the report and go to the bank and ask for the video and that he would contact me with any information and left, the next day I called the bank again and asked to talk with investigation and once again explained the situation and this time asked if they will look at the Video Tape they will see me placing the money in the envelope but she said that the video recorder was NOT working on that day. I did not know how to fight a bank and knew I could not afford a lawyer so I let it go and to this day will not ever deposit any cash in the ATM.
