I changed to this bank to start building credit. My mom came with me and we signed up for the protection plan. The first few months were fine, no bank charges or anything. Then I went on a trip and over drew money, had my mom put cash in that day to cover it and they still charged me.in a course of one week I was up to $310.00 in charges. They had charged an extra $35.00 for not getting things straight. Now I had called them while in another state, 3 times and they didnt return my calls. When I got back they said they would give me $100.00 back and that got me furious. Because I was moving to colorado the next week and needed that money. I am young and dont have a lot of money right now. So now I have switched back to my old bank Wachovia and am satisfied. The lady from BBT asked my mom that day if she would like to open an account, after they had just charged me $310.00. ARE YOU CRAZY? Now I have a credit card through them and I dont think I should pay it. This bank will not show you the accurate amount online, but yet their screen will show them, that way they can charge you and get away with it. I WANT MY MONEY BACK, although I probably will never see it again.
