Charged $39.95 After Advertised Free Credit Report and Score

Do not go to experian.com and get suckered into believing that there is a "free credit report and score" that can be obtained from them. The navigation of the site and verbiage on the site is misleading consumers. I was charged $39.95 for a report and at no time during the transaction was I informed that my credit card would be dinged for the $39.95 charge. I was informed that I would be charged $14.95 as a membership fee which I could cancel at any time after receiving the so called "free report". I viewed the report online and immediately called experian to cancel my membership. At that time they informed me of the $39.95 charge. I immediately called my credit card company to refute the charge and report this fraud.
