Fanta Magazine ripoff threatening angry voice, hung up when threatened with calling consumer reports

I received a call from a young woman purporting to be from a company called Readers Service. She said they were based in Utah where it was snowing on this morning of April 24.in my defense I must say that I was still asleep having been up late the previous night on my new computer. I was reluctant but went along with her and talked to her 'manager' I ordered the magazines but backed out at the last minute. I had already given him my debit card Visa number, after his assurance that all I had to do was call them to report any misuse of my card and it would be immediately taken off the bill. Still being asleep I didn, t catch that, not getting a bill from a debit card I mean. Well, the truth is I really couldn't afford and really didn't want the magazines anyway so I started backing out. He kept lowering the monthly price and extending the amount of time I would have to pay for these 'magazines'. I finally told him if he didn't let me cancel the order I was going to call... And that is when he hung up on me.
There hasn't been time for any thing to happen with my card yet and I hope that my threat will deter them.
