Littleton Coin Company
Sending Coins to Children in effort to extort $30

Miscellaneous

Littleton Coin Company sent my minor children a package of six coins and a bill for $30. I contacted the Company and stated by children did not order coins, including those 3 mid 20th century coins for preview at $30.

Littleton is cleaver in its deception, as they stated my children sent a money order. There is no way to trace the money order to a source.

I filed a written complaint with my stated Consumer Protection Department wiht a copy to the Postmaster in my town and Littleton, NH as they is clearly mail fraud.

I understand that a consumer is not compelled to return or pay for goods send incorrectly. They are raised the fraud to a new step with claiming a money order was sent. Hopefully NH attorney general will investigate, it will be tough to provide deposit of all of the "money orders" they received from children around the country.

It is simply an effort to extort $30 from overworked parents. This company is alway operating in the gray area. They should be fined out of business.
