Assetcare, Inc
Convinced me to pay a debt i owed from 21 years ago. They took advantage of my good morals and cr3edit standing

Miscellaneous

I recieved a letter from this Company today in the mail stating that they were a Debt Collecting Company and that I owed almost a 1,000. I was very puzzled and thought that this must be a mistake. I phoned the Company immediatley and was basically told, That they bought this debt from Lerners and now they are collecting it. (by the way was from 21 years ago) I asked why after 21 years it hasnt showed up on me credit? They lady said they just bought it and it was reported to my credit on 4-10-08. After 3 different times calling, I paid them over the phonr $550. I figured it was cheaper than fighting it or ruining my very good credit standing. After all was said and done. I find this company all over the Interenet trying to do this to alot of other people. I feel terribly stupid and taken advatage of and I think this Company needs to be stopped immediately.
