With Miss Rosemarys Doods Breeder sold us DISEASED, SICK, LIED about PUPPY!

I purchased a chinese crested puppy from Lisa Renz in December 07. I had done some research on the breed and knew to ask about health problems, as well as skin and tooth problems. I contacted Lisa who had placed the puppy on puppy find he was listed as pending, but was so cute I thought I would ask about him. She informed me that the lady had not paid the deposit yet and would let me buy him if I would send her the deposit. I emailed back and forth with her as well as talking on the phone. She assured me there were no health, skin or tooth problems with him or her adult breeder dogs. I sent her the money and we made plans to meet.

I drove seven hours to meet her, we had agreed to meet and then she changed the plans which caused the further drive and sent her husband. I was told he would be healthy and have AKC papers, and my breeders contract with his guarantee, and sample of food he was eating. I did get the AKC papers and the sick baby.

He had scratches and sores on his skin, I thought maybe from playing with siblings, but as we left with him he had a cough, and congestion. I called Lisa and told her that I was concerned he was sick. She admitted she thought he had a cold. When I was guaranteed a healthy pup. That was just the beginning of my problems! I told Lisa I would be going to the vet first thing in the morning and would let her know what I found out.

WELL he had a ear infection, the flu, and THE MANGE! Which was the sarcoptic mange! That is the one people can get! So I had to worry about getting the mange, and treet my other dogs so they would not get it, along with three treatments for the puppy. He did not have all his shots the birthdate on the papers did not match, the add on the site. She had him vet checked and did present me with vet check papers wich were useless! The vet must not know anything! To clear a puppy with all he had wrong. The vet signed papers that were a lie also. He was very sick with a communicable disease to humans as well as pets!

The VET in question is Erik Anderson DVM at 54 Vet Clinic, Nevada, MO. This ended up costing several hundred dollars to get cleared up because he was so dirty when I got him, and had been scratching he got a staph infection! It has taken so much money and caused so much stress to get this baby well.

Lisa did tell me she discussed all this with her vet, and he said he was sorry, and treated all her dogs for the mange. She said she would pay the vet bills because he was supposd to be healthy. Then sent me a email saying that when you buy a animal you have to take responsibility for health issues. I know that and agree but only after you get a pet that is healthy to begin with!

Needless to say she told me in several emails she would send me the money for the vet bills and hoped I did not think she was a dirty person. Well what do you think! She never sent the contract nor the money SURPRISE! I sent her the vet bills as she requested and the she blocked my emails and would not answer my phone calls! This breeder is also a groomer.

Please help me get back the money she said she would pay, and expose a lying scam artist, and a vet that falsely fills our records!
