PALMETTO MARKETING INC AKA PMI INC ripped off and scammed but you still won't get my money! West Palm Beach, Coral Springs

A young lady came to my house last night, 10/21/02, by the name of "Vikki Law" saying she was selling magazines to win a trip to Cancun. I thought she was from my neighborhood because it's that time of year for fundraisers.

She said she only needed 1000 more points to win the trip and she did me as she did the others using high pressure tactics. Believe me, she could sell oil to the Arabs! I proceeded to buy the magazine (at a higher price mind you) and off she went.

She was a very pleasant and charming young girl. I had a few doubts but I ordered anyway. Then she told me they were off to Raleigh today and Charlotte tomorrow. So this morning I decided to check the company out on the web and low and behold there were a ton of usacomplaints.com!

I called my bank and explained what had happened. They were so understanding that they waived the $31 stop pymt fee. I faxed a nasty gram along with the receipt and the reverse side of it that said I could cancel within 3 days letting them know how pathetic they were and they were NOT getting my money. To my knowledge it accepted my fax and won't they be surprised they won't be getting my money either! Maybe the trip they need to take is to jail for scamming honest consumers. I hope you can help put a stop to them!
