Telemarketer ripoff

WATCHOUT when ordering on the phone.

In January I saw a commercial for the ABTRONIC FITNESS SYSTEM. When I called to order the exercise equipment with my credit card, they offered me free services. I thought free stuff for ordering their product, ok. Great... WRONG!

I got signed up for AMR/LD CALLING PLAN also called American Phone who started to charge my credit card monthly for $61.02.in May when I noticed strange charges on my credit card statements, I called AMR to get my total money back. They apologized & agreed to credit it all back. I thought the situation was fixed & over... WRONG!

They credit me back $61.02 then charged me $61.02 in the same day!

It is now October 10 months from the start day of this scam & I am still getting the run around! I talked to them this week & said they have 10 business days to fix this mistake & credit back ALL my money totaling $244.08. I want it back on my credit card or a check. If I do not have my money back in my account or in my hands by the end of this month,
I will call Mastercard & get their lawyers on the disputed charges. This is my first bad report on them; but this is just the beginning if I do not get ALL my money back immediately.

Currently, I hold the greedy telemarketer as the main thief. He/she got paid for orders not placed. It is now up to the all the companies who received money from misrepresentation & bad practices to refund back ALL the funds. I also suggest all involved companies discipline all unreliable, misleading telemarketers & invest in better selling practices.

This is a warning from experience to all consumers to watch out when ordering items on the phone. Get their name, order #, amount, as much info as necessary to protect you from scams like this. Also, if they offer free stuff, I suggest say,
"NO THANK YOU!".

Also for the record, I never received anything from these companies except the Abtronic fitness system & 4 extra bottles. AMR/LD is one of the companies involed with this telemarketer scam. I also am in the process of making a report against the following companies involved;
