Any lie will do

A few years ago, I was a tenant in one of these properties. While there, winter rolled around and mice started to come into the house. The previous renters left a pile of burning wood on the side of the house. When Willow sent an exterminator out and the exterminator pointed out that the mulch from the wood could be what was keeping the mice around the house. Naturally I asked Willow to remove the wood. They refused stating that it was left there for me to use in the fire place. I explained that I had no desire to use the wood. The said that I would have to pay to remove the wood. So I did, especially since the exterminator identified this as the source for the mice.
The mice that had come in were still coming in & out of the house. Willow started to resist my concern. Reluctantly they sent professional exterminators out, they laid peanut butter traps and found that under each baseboard heater there was a fifty cent piece sized hole; so they caulked the holes and meshed holes on the outside of the house. This solved the problem.
One afternoon a Willow Properties Rep. Showed up at my house unannounced, they claim to have mailed a letter, but I never confirmed receiving it because I never got it. This was the final episode for me. I gave them a 20 day notice and when they got it, they sent me a 30 cay notice.

Because of their shady disposition, I video taped the house inside & out when I departed. I got their bill, not only were they trying to keep my deposit, but they also said that I left their property littered with trash.

Let this be a lesson to all renters. Video tape your exit with a date stamp and request a walk through, if you can stomach the management.
