ServiceMagic: A company that's equipped to do magic, or woodoo or anything that has to do with blinding consumer and the service provider. ServiceMagic a company that has at least 26 complaints or more just on this site (I believe under builders-contractors). I wouldn't be surprised based on their immoral practices that hundred more complaints are in existence.

In August I signed with this company, in an effort to gain a larger exposure for my services as a real estate appraiser. I explained to their "team of experts", that when they send me a lead, that lead has to be ready (qualified) and willing to let me do my job without any constraints. I further explained that I will refuse to pay for a lead that expects me to appraise a property based on a pre-determined value.

Two leads, although not in the same time came from two different mortgage brokers. Both brokers wanted properties to be appraised with one caveat:
"We need such and such value and if you can't make the value then forget it ". I replied, forget it. I mean here we are, in the midst of the mortgage meltdown and you ServiceMagic a.K. A Service"Woodoo" do not discourage mortgage fraud on your site?

There is nothing about Service promoted by the ServiceMagic website, is all about "Magic" sort of hoopla here's your "lead" and poof your money's gone. Real estate appraisal services and products requires transparency and "ServiceMagic" website is nothing about transparency.
