House Of Grimm CA Lawyer, Producer, 'Broker' scams $50,000 - BE WARNED!

In August I invested $50,000 in a film, House of Grimm, produced by Mr. Divens. I have a signed contract stating that my initial investment of $50,000 was to be retuned on or before September. I was told the money was to be used in the editing stage of the film. Then on November 20, I was to receive an addition $100,000 from the sale of the film.

Mr. Divens in a CA Lawyer, and has also worked on other films such as the Blade trilogy. Before I invested with Mr. Divens, he provided me with a copy of his credit report, ID, and various documentation to prove that this was a legitimate deal, and that he was in good financial standing and that he was who he claimed to be.

I had no reason to believe that I would not get my initial investment back as planned.

It is now February of and I have yet to receive anything. Mr. Divens has been in contact this whole time, promising me payment at least 1/week for the past 5 months, yet every time fails to come through. I have found out during this time that he has filed for bancruptcy, and forclosed on his own personal property, which is contradictory to what he presented to me.

Every week it's a different story - the actors stike he said influenced his ability to sell the film, so he's been trying to broker some Venezuelan Bond deal. But every time he promises to make a payment to me, it always falls through.

It is now clear to me that I have been scammed, and cannot expect payment.

Be warned - this man in very intelligent - but not to be trusted!
