Tried to cancel my subscription, link for contact did not work, tried several times got no confirmation.internet

I went to a government grants site that was supposed to free of scams, I paid for a free CD, that was for shipping charges. I read that if I cancelled before 14 day free trial ended that I would not be charged for an automatic monthly charge. I looked to see if thewre was a number to call. I used the contact link that did not work. I received no confirmation from them. When I sent the request on the link it did not go through. A message came that it couldn't find server or document.
