Same as complaint #291669 but with changed names and story line

After recieving a "real" check in the mail and the promise of $50,000 in a beautifully concocted con letter, I googled the address on the check wondering where this generosity was coming from. Fortunately, complaint showed up in the search warning me with an identical story on the same scam I recieved; under report #291669.

Anyone can fall prey to this con scheme. I would imagine that if the number is called someone is masquerading as Jessica Wells from Allpay.net @ 416-841-9715 in Ontario, Canada. She'll give you a song and dance, you'll give away vital information, and become an identity theft victim.

I could have become a sucker. These crooks need to be stopped. Thanks again complaint.
