Rip off is just the beginning, and the word LEMON has a whole new meaning!

I bought a 2000 Grand Prix GT from JD Byrider on January 13th. I had the car about 2 days when the check engine light came on, and all the fun began. Every 2 to 2 1/2 months my car is back in their service department with all kinds of problems, with 1 in particular that keeps showing up each time, which has something to do with the secondary air fuel injection. The car did NOT pass emissions in August of so once again, back to the shop it went, and this time they had the car for almost 10 days. Of course you do not get a loaner car from them, so not only did I miss some days off of work, just the inconvience of them taking their sweet & time is what really chokes my chain. As if WE have nothing better to do than wait around for them to fix our car that should of never left their lot to begine with.

My car has been in the repair shop 6 times now, with this last time, guess what? They still have it, and said they couldn't find what was wrong with it, so they sent it to a pontiac dealer/service department for them to look at. I only heard from them once, just yesterday, and they told me they had torn the whole wiring system out, but still the car was starting after it sat for an hour or so. The problems I have had are from a simple blower resistor motor, left turn signal light, head light constantly foggs up, steering column replaced, crank position sensor, timing gasket, spark plugs, coolant sensor, and God knows how many other "sensors" they seem to claim have been bad.

If and when I ever get my car back, I will try to get this piece of garbage paid off, and NEVER do business with them again. People, beware, they will take advantage of you, and not shed a tear.
