We saw the apartment before it was "fixed-up" after the last tenant left-we were assured everything would be up to our standards and whatever we wanted fixed, we would have our "move in" sheet to let them know everything we wanted fixed. I really was shocked when they rent out a "luxury" apt with broken face plates on the outlets and holes in the kitchen countertop!!! Also the blinds were bent. I was told there was good chance i would have new carpet-the previous tenants had 3 cats and i had an 8 month old baby so i wanted it replaced.

They didnt replace it, they painted it-my baby had paint on his knees and tops of his feet-when i complained they
assured me the carpet was clean and sorry that the dye hadnt dried yet.

hen we wanted a tac-strip put in the kitchen doorway-they said it had one-it doesnt! The nails come up thru the carpet and cut your feet and we are always tripping on the carpet that has no tac strip. This has been going on for months... Last time the maintenance guy was asked about it, he said he couldnt do it because COX stole his hammer!!! He went on to tell me he stores his tools where they hook up the phones and 1/2 his tools are missing.

The pool is always dirty.

1/2 the lights are missing from the parking lot (we have pictures) and 1/2 the other lights are broken.
And, since weve lived here the carpet in the next apt has been changed 2 times and i cant even get a complimentary carpet shampoo!!!

We always have trouble with our gate too-last time, my husbands car was damaged because the gate closed on the car while he was driving thru it. We wanted to get an estimate and turn it in to Equity insurance-they denied it and said they have no reports of anything being wrong with the gate-I saw the maintenance man standing by it when it wasnt working the previous day-He told them there has never been any problems with the gate since he has been here.

He is a liar, i saved the letter from the apt mgr-apologizing about the gate and how it didnt work - and he was working here at the time!!! We have had problems with the gate for the last year.

The light at the bottom of out stairs was out for at least 2 months.

They cant afford to put new carpeting in my apartment, but, they can have the whole complex painted-it didnt even need it!

There is broken glass from the flood lights on the way to the mailboxes and its been there since last oct.

Last week they finally replaced a broken lock on an outside gate-I was in the office and the maintenance guy says "heres the new key for the gate-oh, do you want 2 keys???" Well, lets see... 2 people are renting the apartment and we are not joined at the hip, so... Duh

I am surprised i wasnt told to go make my own copy!
