I received a bill from Heron Pointe in Fresno CA saying that I owe them $293.92 for cleaning and maintenance to the apartment located in (Personal Information Removed).
When I called and asked why after they took all my deposit I still have to pay such amount. Danielle told me that I was overcharged $130.00 but I have to still pay most of the bill because if not, she will send me to collections. I never said I won't pay if my bill is adjusted to the $293.92 minus the $130.00 she said I was overcharged by accident plus the $50.00 that they charged me for two gate clickers and I returned with the hope to get those $50.00 back. I feel harassed by Danielle threatened me with collections in a rude manner and saying that she can do whatever she wants if I don't bring her a payment right away. Her attitude was negative and demanding even when I agreed to make monthly payments because I am job less at this moment. Heron Pointe was not the healthiest place to live. For two years I lived with a broken air conditioner and broken heather that they never fixed and with dog defecation that have been around the apartment complex for months and nobody cleans them, especially close to the mail boxes by the San Jose gate. Also I lived two years with a wet wall in my kitchen because a problem with the water pipes in the apartment next to mine and they fixed it until two days before I moved out. Managers are impossible to speak to and they are rude and never help tenants when we they need them. I just want to be charge for the fair balance and to be treated like a human being. I never failed to pay my rent on time, and I was one of their best tenants according to Monica, one of their managers.
