Pyramid scam?

I was called in to interview for what I was told on the phone owuld be a customer service position with a salary range beginning at $34,000 per year. I had trouble finding the office (the sign in front of the office building does not include the name of this company), and when I did find it, I noticed that while the sign on the door said "Midwest Marketing Concepts", the sign inside the lobby said "GC Imports". Having nearly been taken in by other "multi-level marketing" situations (in other words, pyramid scams) in the past, I was already wary, but hoped to be proven wrong, I was taken into an office for an "interview" that lasted only a few minutes, and included only a few very basic questions. I asked a few questions of my own, but the interviewer was reluctant to give precise answers, especially when I asked for more details about the pay scale. When I asked her how much the job paid, she asked, "How much do you want to make?" I asked for confirmation of a range, and she said $35,000. When I asked if this was a commission job, she said that it could be, if I chose commission instead of a regular salary. I asked how the commission scale worked, an she told me that this information could only be disclosed in the second interview! I've encountered this kind of company before - they entice you with offers of a job in "marketing" or "customer service", and refuse to tell you until the "second interview" that it's really a crappy sales job. If it's an outside sales job, just call it an outside sales job - don't waste my time with your lies!
