Don't buy from them because they lied and promised to me that I would be financed

On Aug 31, My daughter and I went to look at some cars. We came across a tent sale at Gwinnett Place Mall. We decided to stop and see what they were selling. We came across a car that she and I both liked. The salesperson got the key for us and let us test drive it. When we got back he had all the papers ready for us to sign. I signed the papers and then had to wait to see if I was going to be approved due to my credit. They came back saying I needed to show something I just recently paid off my Ford Explorer. So my daughter and I left to go and get the papers.

When we got back we gave them the papers. They came back saying I would have to pay $370 a month. I told them I couldn't pay that much for a 2000 Honda Civic DX. The salesperson went back in to talk to the manager. Shortly after that he came back out and saida bank would finance us at $353 a month. But that they would try on Monday to get another bank to finance us to see if the payment would come down.

At around 8 or 9 PM, they told us to go to the finance department at the Nissan place. The finance department even told us that they would try to get a bank to finance us.

On Sept. 3rd they called us and said it didn't look so good. But that they would keep trying.

Two weeks later they called and said they wanted the car back, since there was no bank that would finance us.

I'm writing this report to warn people about how dealerships can lie to you, just to get you to buy a car.

I'm going to tell all my friends, not to shop there for a car. My daughter is going to do the same with her friends.

We are now taking our business else where. Hopefully won't run into the same problem we ran into with GPN.
