Anthony J Brummer's nonpayment to building supplier causes lien on my house

I received a new roof on August 31, paying in full the amount of 7,200.00 to Brummer Construction, Inc. The check cleared on 9/4/07.
I am now receiving certified letters from Gulfeagle supply stating they have not been paid for the materials and a lien has been placed on my home.
I have done some research on floridalicense.com to find Anthony Joseph Brummer, Certified Roofing Contractor, licesne CCC1325673 was placed on probation for 2 years and had to complete education and now license is inactive. There is a application in progress under the name of Anthony J Brummer for Certified Roofing Contractor. There is another license for Certified Building Contractor under Anthony Joseph Brummer that states eligible for exam.
I tried getting in contact with Mr Brummer to find his phone has been disconnected and he has closed his business. I spent my entire savings to pay for this roof. It appears that I now owe Gulfeagle Supply 3371.16 to take the lien off my house, while Mr Brummer continues to keep my 7200.00 for his own use.
It is an uneasy feeling knowing he has done this to me and according to courthouse records I am not the first. Now he can come back with another license under another name and do the same to others. If you come across this name... Run. I am really being put under by this guy.
