Mark Marketing
Fictitous Job Offer! DON'T quit your day job before reading this!

Miscellaneous

I was offered the same "Administrative Director" job as well. This came in response to my application for the Administrative Assistant job which pays $43k as advertised at craigslist.org. Clearly, the job offered and described was different.

Trial job letter included a 30-day probationary period before actual job was offered.

I provided my first week's schedule which included 2-hour shifts. At said date and time, I never heard any thing from Mark Marketing or said employees located around the world.

When I attempted to call the HR Director's phone, it went straight to a generic voicemail... And the mailbox was full so I was unable to leave a message.

I should have known this was too-good-to-be-true when no one gave me a personal interview over the phone. I simply submitted my resume, completed a generic form and was given the job!!! A deaf, dumb, blind monkey could get this job!

I also should have been suspicious when they said I'd be paid once a month, but never inquired about my mailing/physical address, direct deposit, social security number, etc. Obviously, they didn't even require any forms of ID or ss card, either.

It was a good dream job while it lasted!!!
