Interview scam

I answered an employment posting yesterday on Craigs List for a Payroll and Benefits Administrator. I just received an email from "Mark Gillman, HR Director for Rustox", directing me to click on a link to begin the first stage of the application process. I followed the link and was taken to a marketing website to purchase a gold purchasing kit. Very frustrating in this market in which jobs are very difficult to come by! The sender's email address is accounting@rustox.com

The email I received is as follows:

Thank you for your interest and taking the time to reply to our current open positions at Rustox.

As a result of the poor economic climate, we have received many more resumes for these positions than at any time in our company history. Due to the high number of applicants, we have immediately been able to fill 2 of our 4 open positions. It appears you already fit our basic requirements and I would love to bring you in for an interview to fill one of our last remaining spots.

The recession has forced Rustox to cut costs wherever it can in order to remain competitive in the marketplace and continue to successfully serve our clients. All of our job applicants are required to complete one of our client marketing forms in order to move forward in the interview process. You will simply need to go to our client's websites and take a couple of minutes to securely fill in your basic information there. When you click on the link below one of our preselected client websites will open with a form for you to complete.

IMPORTANT: After completing the 1st or 3rd page of the form, you will be automatically taken to the resume upload page. Upload your resume even if you've already sent it to us. Due to a growing threat of malicious viruses, we use an advanced virus detection filter for incoming applicant resumes.
