Laurie N Parsons
Nationwide Subscriptions And ABI DOOR TO DOOR SALES SCAM FLAGLER BEACH

Miscellaneous

On November 9, I was approached by two nicely dressed and mannered teenagers at my house. They wanted me to buy a book because they were trying to win a contest to go to England. Said that they lived the block over from my street and were home schooled and lived with her grandmother. The girl was about 17 years old and had Red Hair... They walked on feet door to door. The guy was about the same age with tall with sandy blonde hair and said his name was Ryan Upthall. She did not give her name.

I asked for contact phone numbers. Gave them a check for $50.00 for a book and made check out to ABI... They said this was the company entity to make the check out to.

Figured out we got scammed and decided to call phone numbers provided and the cellular number given was fake and the other was to a someones house in New Smyrna Beach Florida. Went to the next block. Only 7 houses on block... To find out those young kids did not even exist. So... Beware! I will be going to my bank on Tuesday since they are closed this coming Monday to try to stop payment on my check. You try to help the community and these young punks take your money and need to be prosecuted.
