Com ivorywhite charged credit card without authorization

This company "IvoryWhite" advertised in a long list of companies in which I participated in a survey in order to Win a Plasma TV or something like that. After filling out the long survey... I ordered a trial of teeth whitening for $4.87 (shipping only) to see if it worked. Nothing was mentioned that I was on an automatic ordering cycle and would be charged some $82.00 per month for future whitening products. The product was received October 17th from FedEx. I waited a few days before beginning the gel.

After trying it for 5 days, as it stated it would show whitening effects and it did not work, I decided to not use it anymore. There was no invoice in the package or any way of contacting them other than an Web address on the advertising brochure. I contacted the address, cancelled my name, and got a phone number for which I called to confirm my cancellation. They had charged my credit card for some $82.00 on October 29th without my authorization or re-ordering. I intend to send back the order when it arrives.

Today is October 31st. After talking to my creditcard company and stopping any further charges from this IvoryWhite, I found that I am liable for at least $50.00 of this charge made on October 29th due to today's date being October 31st. Boy is this a sweet Halloween gift. I will contact Arizona and Colorado's Attorney General or whoever takes care of such fraud tactics. I am a Senior Citizen and this is another way of stealing from unsuspecting customers.
