Rented home and left with significant damages. Hangs up phone when confronted with damages and money owed

Do not rent to Tina Merchant from Clare MI. She rented a home from us and was consistanly late on rent, couldnt keep up normal maitenance ect. She told us she was leaving the home and she skipped out on last months rent and trashed home. She broke tiles around fireplace, stained carpets, slammed doors through everywall, bent curtains, we repainted entire home due to abuse to walls, cut up plumbing to install her softener and left home with No running water due to her cutting her softener out and leaving a plumbing mess, stove was filthy, floors were filthy and SO MUCH MORE! I cant even describe how unhappy we are. We sent her a certified letter and she has not signed for it after 13 days. The estimated damages are approx $1500 plus all the past due rent. DO NOT RENT TO THIS WOMAN! She will give you the sob story. She will tell you she is going through a divorce, has 2 kids, brother died, you name it. DONT FALL FOR THIS! Its a ploy to get your rental home and trash it. Beware!
