Black Knight Cocker Spaniels DO NOT BUY A DOG FROM THIS BREEDER

We got a dog from this wicked woman 3 years ago. We paid $900 for her. Pat knew we wanted a breeding mate for our male Cocker that we had. She was a great dog except for her health issues. When we got her she was very energetic and was a normal puppy. Well that did not last long a few months after we got her she started losing her hair on her chin and losing energy and weight. We took her to the vet and they found out that she had Mites. The vet told us this is something she had since birth and got it from her mother.
We put her through the mite bath's to get rid of them and that took several months and several 100 of dollars. I was in contact with Pat through this whole thing and all she would say is that you should have my vet look at her. Well we live 4 hours from her vet and how were we suppose to do that.
After the baths were done Sasha was now over a year old she had 1 good year and then developed a Cataract in her 1 eye, again the vet said that this is something she got from her breed line. I contacted Pat again and she said when you are ready you can have a free puppy. 6 months later she was totally blind. She adapted well to being blind. We got her balls that would make noise so she could still fetch that she loved to do.
With very heavy hearts last night we buryed our little girl. I'm so upset with Pat for putting my family through this. My son is 10 and he is not taking the lose very well and neither am I. This woman needs to be shut down!!! I tried to contact her and all I got was voice mail saying she had puppies available and it turned my stomach. I sent her e-mails that she did not read. I'm sending her a copy of this and then I will see if she reads this. I'm considering contacting a Lawyer to fight to get her shut down. No family should have to lose a dog claiming to be a pure breed from chanmpionship lines after 3 years. We loved our dog and she was a member of the family she will be missed dearly.

I concidered getting another puppy form her but I could not do that to my family again. She can keep her sick dogs.
