I received a call telling me that I was to receive government money. They had my name, address, social, and checking number. I work nights, so I was half asleep and verified my routing number. I was skeptical the entire time, so I asked for the name of the caller who purported himself as being a supervisor and a phone number he said "sure"", then I got a dial tone.

I did not find out who it was until I had the funds withdrawn from my account.

I have to close my checking account and have my check sent to me instead of direct deposit.
