Saban's Auto Rental
Abusive, threatening, "fixing" bill

My mother rented from Saban's and was told it would be $129 for the week. She added me, her daughter, as a driver (by telephone). When she returned the car, the charges were now $272. They claimed that our insurance didn't cover me and they verified this with a phone call to the insurance company. My mother wasn't pleased and their attitude was very cavalier. We went home and found out that what they claimed wasn't true and no phone calls to our insurance company had been made. I called Saban's and explained this and asked why they lied about the call. I was very polite and was accused of yelling and was hung up on. I then called to get the mgr's name and the person on the phone said he was (not!) and there was no one else to talk to. Well, my father, my mother, and myself then went back to Saban's where the clerk copied the paperwork brought in by my dad. When my dad asked about the lie, the clerk then started complaining that i was yelling at him and when my dad politely said that wasn't the case; he was cut off and then my dad said that he was talking which in turn brought out a short balding guy who called my dad an "old bastard, to get the f& out of his store, etc... I didn't let him get away with this as i issued a verbal cannonfire to his verbal cap gun. These ppl also "fixed" my mother's receipt to make it look like she signed for the amount which even though it now said $272, they had charged the card $300.
That's being dealt with now... To frank... Of course, you're going to say Saban's isn't a rip off! You're not going to bite the hand that feeds you! Per our experience I'm sure "keith" is telling the complete truth and no I've not seen ANY new cars on your lot. So quit your lying get a conscience and find work with honest employers. For all that want to get together for a class action suit, this site i believe provides email addresses and we should put these ppl out of business for good
