Rip off on my A/C unit

Rich from Scottsdate, Arizona, I read your report. This is literally identical to my situation. From the amount of times their "professional contractor" came to my house to "fix" the unit by charging the freon, to the phone run around after I insisted further investigation into the cause of the problem be conducted. My unit is repaired totally at my expense. With triple digit temperatures and a handicapped child in my home, I had to have a/c. I paid for the worthless policy and they declined to pay the repair unless I agreed to replace the unit at an additional cost of $2,000.00 to me. Their portion was less than $650.00. The obvious method of operations practiced by American Home Shield is criminal. If you find an attorney, please include my name for contact and inclusion in the suit. They should be stopped. Also, this is just one site of many that address the very same practices. Please visit www.syix.com where a former employee discusses these very same situations and how AHS encourages their "professional contractors" to handle service calls. This needs to stop and I will be happy to participate in bringing this dispicable behavior to an end.
