Nothing But Problems And A whole Lot Of Trips Back To The Dealership

After four or so hours of trying to get the deal done because they didnt even know the computer system we finally left with a 2001 Dodge intrepid with a strip on one side of a door needing to be fixed, so thats one trip we have to make back already. Well we got the car home and found two lights out after they preach the whole inspection thing. The very next day I find the air filter in the car is old, brittle and dry rotted. After two weeks a window quits working that cost us over 100 bucks which still hasnt worked properlly til 4 months later which is today and now its finally working right. The same time the window quit the dash cracked in two places that we are responsible for.

Well a couple weeks go by and I notice as well as my wife the lights flickering and dimming at certain times, I carry the car in and the battery is bad, now this is a very short period of time after buying this car, I am a mechanic and know that in a 120 point inspection you CHECK the BATTERY as well as the AIR FILTER! Well I couldnt believe it but they replaced the battery at no cost to me. I was expecting a bill for the battery, and was shocked but it was a fresh dealership and we was one of their very first cutomers here.

Now this is the kicker, I would say about three months into this car they service our car and leave the oil filter loose and the car leaks out about 4 quarts out and I catch it a little too late, so I call them up raising hell they say bring it in I do so and they say its fine. So the following weekend I go up to Macon to get my step son and the car is knocking, so I drive it back carefully and they say the engine is bad, that they have to replace it. We say ok what are we gonna do about a car, they didnt care one bit they would not rent us a car or give us one off the lot. So we was stuck making a car payment without a car for 11 days. We get the car back and things are fine except for the window which they neglected to take care of while they had the car and the dents which the service manager said he would take care of. Two weeks go by and we make another payment, I am washing and detailing the car and find the front seal is leaking oil, so again the car has to go back for another day, so they replace the front and rear seal and the oil sender unit. The very same day I get the car home it is running hot, therefore they had to send a wrecker for it the very next day, which is today and that is why I am here now.

My wife and I are fed up and furious with this. We are desperately wanting out of this car and this relationship with this company and urge no one to buy a car from them and we would love to see these people lose their business here. That may be harsh but look at what we have been through. We have not missed a beat on our payment in six months and the only thing we have gotten extra is one tank of gas.
