China Beach DVD Ripoff INTERNET INTERNET

In early July, I ordered a set of DVDs for the television series China Beach from this company that advertised on the Internet. I provided my daughter's credit card information (with prior approval from her for my birthday present) as a means of purchase. Her card was charged right away. I began corresponding with this company's customer service as soon as I noticed a delay in receiving the product. I would receive an email stating that the merchandise was on its way. I did this numerous times and received a reply many of the times. The last reply that I received was that they were "backed up and hoped to be all caught by the week" (Aug. 20 email). I have copies of the emails. The company in its advertisement stated their refund policy very plainly (see below) and they did email whether or not I would like them to resend or refund the money (credit my daughter's credit card). I told them that I would continue to be patient and wait for the merchandise. I tried emailing them today, and the email was returned that the address was "invalid." I guess I have been duped! I never threatened to report them that this might be fraud, and tried to be cordially patient.

After searching for their website, I found this information:

Due to a Service and Database Failure we have been forced to close
All customers that wish to recieve their order please email a copy of their order to csorders@tvshowplanet.net, we will continue to process all orders and ship them once we recieve the email confirmation or a refund request.
All customers who wish for a refund we will be happy to process them, please email your order number and first and last numbers of the credit card used to purchase the order. This information is required to process your refund. Please note for security do not include any additional information we only require the first and last four numbers of the credit card and the order number. Email csrefunds@tvshowplanet.net
We appologize for the inconvinience and appreciate your business thus far.
Please note you must email one of the above email addresses for us to send or refund your order".

Are they for real??? Please check this out!!!
If in fact I have been had, I hope that no one else will fall prey to this.incidently, there is other companies advertising the same type of merchandise (DVDs of television shows). Is there anyway that I can be told that these dishonest perpetrators have been caught and that I am not the only victim?

We offer the lowest prices available because we do not make profits of these sets, we simply charge what is needed to produce the DVD's and pay our costs of this production. We will provide refunds to the situations that merit a refund. Such situations for example are our inability to provide you with your purchase.
