Free hotel is timeshare rip-off

Kars4kids is a car donation company that offers a free hotel voucher along with the tax write-off for donating your old car. The hotel voucher is a big
rip-off though. The charity itself is suspicious, a religious camp for kids in
Lakewood, NJ.

Upon donating your car you get a certificate for the value of your car
(up to $500) and a brochure for a stay at a resort.in order to get this though you must give a lot of personal information, be married, both have
driver's licences to attend a 90 minute hard-sell timeshare session. They try
to push their more expensive resorts. If you don't attend, kiss your
$50 refundable registration fee good-bye.

Kars4kids must know this whole promotion is a scam. As far as charities the BBB bureau rates them unsatisfactory in that they use more than 35% of donations for overhead fees too.
