Charged 24.95 to my bank card without me knowing ripoff

I checked my online bank statement and I noticed a charge of 24.95 was on there from ccbill.com. Well I checked with my wife and we agreed that neither of us put it on there. I called my bank and they gave me a phone number to call. I called the 1-888 number and they asked me my card info. And I had given it to them and they told me that I had signed up for some adult website. I told them to cancel the account right away and refund my money.

They said they had cancelled the account but they could not refund my money. I called four different times and they all said no and they said I should report to my local police. I took it upon myself to cancel my card and I am going to file a dispute so I should not be charged because I did not authorize it.

I just got back from the bank and it is a bit of a process but they said it should be gone in the next day or two. Just a warning if you see this on your bill make an attempt to call them but do your best to not give out your number.

I cancelled mine right away and there were no other transactions on my account but whoever did this does have my home address and my work phone number. They did give me an ip address which is linked to somewhere in Nigeria and an email that I have had no luck finding who it belongs to.
