COMPLAINT and DEMAND for immediate REMEDY:

In 64 complaints, a frequent surrealistic response often is:
Contact customer support for help - WHICH IS WORTHLESS.

All automatic polite advisories to Contact Customer Service are totally worthless - even assuming that one IS a customer of this strange company. They hide their physical address (operating out of a P.O. Box). The identity of their CEO and other managerial staff is also kept secret or far from evident.

At 16:38 Middle European Time 1 August I called ONLINGO using number found on bank statement. For ten (10) minutes I was subject to messages telling me "your call is very important to us" (SURE) interspersed with other automatic messages. After someone FINALLY answered I was asked for my zip code which in my case was NOT relevant. After telling her my zip code was irrelevant, I was told to "calm down" followed by her hanging up. I did NOT call them for politeness lessons. That was NOT an issue. Issue was an unauthorized billing for something that I did NOT order. I'm in Europe and will not be back in the USA until late October at the earliest. Four subsequent calling attempt yielded nothing but busy signals. Extremely poor practice. I've finite time. ENOUGH! I am NOT an ONLINGO Customer. I ordered NOTHING. My English and German is perfect. I'm not (NOT) now learning ANY other languages.

From my University of Wisconsin Credit Union (UWCU) statement:

I did NOT authorize purchase of ANY ONLINGO product. I've no idea how they got acces to my banking information. My getting massive spam recently may be related. I don't open unknown attachment of fill out templates. If ONLINGO is blameless (a big IF) they can and should remedy this quasi-fraud immediately. ONLINGO returning my money ASAP will save me hassle of having my bank issue a new card. It is expensive to send new credit cards to Europe. I'm frustrated.

I'll not be back in USA until October. AGAIN, I'm NOT a ONLINGO customer.
