Unified Services
3 Day 2 Night Vacation and 1000 Dollar Shopping Spree Scam ripoff

Miscellaneous

I have been recieving numerous phone calls on my cell phone from an unkown caller. Today my Husband answered the call, thinking that it might be someone trying to get a hold of him for a Job. He said that it was some indian dude, and could barely understand him, he said that his name was Randy, badge number 2238. He was telling him that they were a travel agency trying to promote their business and that they had selected only 5 numbers from each state to win this 3 day 2 night vacation to 20 different locations and a 1000 dollar shopping spree to spend where ever we liked online. All he needed was $1.24 for the shipping and handleing on the package. My husband told him that he didn't handle the finances that I did, to call back in a couple of hours.

My Husband came to me after the call and told me about it. I looked the company up on the internet and I was directed to this web site, where I have found numerous reports on them. Many of them report that this agency charges you 149.80 for nothing.

As I was reading the reports, just a second ago they called back. I answered the phone and the guy said that he talked to my husband, he began to give me the "spill" on the package, and I interupted him telling him to, "please remove me from your calling list." He said that they would after he talked to me. I said, "no, please remove me from your calling list, I no this is a scam, and it is illegal for you to call me when i ask you to remove me." He said that it was not a scam and asked to talk to my husband. I told him that he couldn't and if they didn't stop calling that I would have my phone company redirect their calls to a federal agency that would charge them $25,000 dollars for calling me. He then hung up.

Their are so many people out there trying to scam everyone that I do not believe anyone when they call me. Neither should any of you. If you have truely won a prize from a company that is ligit, Then they will contact you in writing about a prize that you have won. Never by phone! Plus you should NEVER give out your personal finacial information.

Any company clsiming that you have won a prize will not ask for your information anyways. If you win something for free then it is ALL free, no money is required for them to send you your prize. And just to be on the safe side, always check the company out online, you will be surprised at the information that you can obtain by typing in their company name.

Best wishes to all you that got caught up in this nasty scam. I hope justice is served on this fake company!
