This company sells lists of police impounded cars. I was told it would be 9.95 for the year, but they frauduletly charged my bank account 58.07. Beverly Hills, West Hollywood, West Los Angeles

Miscellaneous

I called a ad i saw in a local free local newspaper for police impounds. Cars, from $500.00. Tax repossessions, U.S. Marshall and irs sales.

Cars, trucks, suvs, toyotas, hondas, chevys, and more.

You had to call a 1-800 phone number and ask for ext. 1207. When i did a woman named chris operater #326 answered. She explained for a one time fee of $9.95 for the year i would recieve listings in my area of these so called $500.00 cars.

If after 30 days she quoted i could call the service dept. At another 1-800 number and request the type of car i wanted and they would find it.

At first i was very leary but signed up anyway. I gave her my banking information on july 1st thinking only $9.95 was going to be taken out of my account and since i had $26.00 in my account i knew it would clear.

On july 2nd i checked my account on line and was shocked to see they had taken out $58.07 out of my account which gave me an over draft for $35.00. I then called my bank and disputed it.

I then called the ad again and pretended to be some one else and asked what it would cost to buy this list. The man that answered told me it would be $9.95 for the year. I then told him what had happened the day before and why was my account charged the $58.07. He wouldn't give me any answers and just told me to call the other 1-800 number, which i did.

I spoke with a woman named michelle operater # 511. She told me in order to prove being over charged i'd have to fax her a copy of my bank statement. She was almost calling me a liar and said nothing could be done until i sent her my proof.

I told her to stick her company where the sun doesn't shine and to give me back my money and to cancel the order and not to bother even trying to recharge me because i would dispute that with my bank also, and they would get nothing.

I also asked to speak to chris the one who i ordered this from but she was on another line scamming some else i suppose. I told michelle i was turning them into every body and any thing i could.

I could of gotten this information on line or at my local police dept. But thought for the $9.95 i'd have the whole list.

These people and company are scams don't fall for it.
