Ripoff dishonest scam artists

On September 8 a young woman who said her name was Amber Pickett came to my back door and acted like she knew my neighbor and asked if she could come in. Being new to the area I said okay. She then pressured me into buying magazine subscriptions from her, saying that if I took the longer subscriptions (which of course cost more money) that whe would be able to go to cancun. She told my husband that she was going to come and take me with her. She said she was dropped off but we found no car around. Well about a month later my check for $103.96 was on my bank statement as being cashed. So I waited and waited finally I used a friends computer and tried to find out anything about the company and what was going on. I found nothing until today. Well no more buying things from people knocking on my door.
